Voted as one of the top 5 kid friendly zoos in the country. The Phoenix zoo offers a great assortment of animals. With 2 1/2 miles of trails throughout the zoo it provides enough sites to see if you are going to spend the entire day. You can also see the entire zoo within a couple of hours on foot or by bike.
When we went, single day adult tickets were $16 children 3-12 $7. If you plan on going to the zoo more than once we really felt that the basic membership was a better deal. It was $55 for the first adult $25 for the second and $10 for children 3-18.
So for a family of 4, one day was $46 (if both children are under 12).
Membership was $100. Which gives you unlimited access to the zoo for 1 year, discounts at the concessions, plus you get 2 free adult one day tickets for family or friends ($32 value).
